Turban Tying Workshop at the University of Buffalo 2024
In April 2024, Sikhi Sidak partnered with the Sikh Student Association at the University of Buffalo to host an engaging and educational Turban Tying Workshop. Students from across the campus came together to explore the deep cultural and spiritual significance of the turban in Sikhism. Through hands-on demonstrations, we showcased various turban-tying styles, shared the history of this important tradition, and highlighted the essential role it plays in a Sikh’s identity. The event created a meaningful space for the University of Buffalo community to connect, learn, and celebrate the values of faith, culture, and unity.
